2007 Greensboro Engineers Club Scholarship Program

 

The Greensboro Engineers Club is proud to announce two (2) $1,000 scholarships for 2007. All qualifying candidates are hereby cordially invited to submit an application for one of the 2007 awards!

 

Greensboro Engineers Club was formed over 55 years ago to promote the social, economic and technical interests of local engineering and associated professionals. The club meets once per month to foster and stimulate a spirit of good fellowship and cooperation among its members and to provide a medium for exchange of mutually beneficial information. Typical meetings include tours of local projects, plants and engineering facilities; informative speakers with insights on prominent projects, emerging technology and current events. Social events, such as golf tournaments, plays and banquets are also an integral part of our programs. The club has raised money annually to support local engineering students and to promote the engineering profession through scholarships.

 

Recipients shall receive $1,000 and a free one year student membership in the Greensboro Engineers Club.

 

By submitting this application, candidate hereby ascertains that he or she complies with the following requirements:

 

 

Preference will be given to full time students -  part time students are required to submit current and future class load information.

 

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION IS January 31, 2007. The scholarship committee will notify recipients on or before March 28th. Awards will be presented at the April meeting of Greensboro Engineers Club (tentatively scheduled for April 2nd, 2007).
